Remember 2004??

Was 2004 a good year for NWA?  Was it “booming”?  Were people buying houses?  Here’s the trick with supply and demand….

Benton County Homes Sold in 2004….4,277
Benton County Homes Sold in 2006….4,094

So here’s a thought.  Be careful about how you respond to our “market conditions.”  The health of our market will hopefully not be compromised by over-anxious and ill qualified builders and investors.  Too many homes for sale remains accurate….a demand that isn’t meeting the supply is even accurate.  But a lack of demand is completely and utterly INNACURATE and UNEDUCATED.  Understant it before your report it!!

And remember this…a market that has demand in an oversupplied market can correct itself, a market that lacks demand will remain oversupplied.
