We have followed this every step of the way and told you we would let you know the good bad and ugly about Bella Vista incorporating.  Well here we go this article spells out a problem they are having with their budget.  Now I think after reading this article that it is obvious that the POA will have to disband.  The article reads as though it won’t happen or even the POA will start charging more.

The city of Bella Vista is starting to take over services previously offered by the POA which goes to say that the POA should be able to charge less.  They are spending less so therefore they can charge less right?  That is absurd that an entitiy could decrease their cost and still charge the same thing (just ask the oil companies).  Why do we stand for this?  Why don’t we do something?  It is very difficult to do anything right now because of the beginning stages of the city but get out and have your voice known.

However you see this issue you need to let the right people know - write letters, make phone calls, send emails.  Let the government know that you don’t want this unfair double tax.  The sooner we do this the sooner we can say goodbye to the POA and goodbye to the $24/month.  After all if the city (and the taxes you have to pay now) pay for all of the services then why have a POA.
