The state and city have both approved applications from the Benton County School of the Arts to open Northwest Arkansas Fine Arts Academy, a charter school for grades 9-12. As the organization works to finalize financing on the building located at 506 W Poplar St in Rogers, it’s becoming evident that the organization is putting together a school that will not only provide Northwest Arkansas a great educational facility, but will also be a draw for culture and entertainment options.

The school will provide students a year long learning format with a focus on project based education. In addition to state of art faciltiies (no pun intended), the school will also have a performing arts center that seats over 1,000 people for concerts, plays, etc.
