Perfect name. State signifigance and historic reference to baseball. The team name was announced today following a contest to name the team.

fyi…i kept wondering why I didn’t get a free ticket for my suggestion on a team name. Everyone else I know did. As I red the press release, they named the names that were the seven finalists and my name suggestion, the Northwest Arkansas Bass, was one of the finalists. I’m looking forward to my prize!!

And as much as I would love to save the $450 I will spend on season tickets next week, I am much more pleased with “Naturals”. GO NATURALS!!!
