MAKING MUSIC FOR LOGAN
October 27th Benefit Concert and Silent Auction
Bentonville (September 10, 2007) ?Friends of local family plan to host a Benefit Concert and Silent Auction. All proceeds will help cover medical costs for their infant. The benefit will be held October 27th at 6:30 p.m. at the National Guard Armory in Bentonville. This family friendly event will feature live music performed by local musicians and silent auction of art and gift certificates donated by local artisans and businesses. Sponsors currently include World Gym, The Event Group, Midnite Noon, The Green Bean, The Golden Spiral, Embassy Suites, Fatal Redemption and more.
Baby Logan Jeffers was born July 8, 2007 at Washington Regional to parents Evan and Melly Jeffers of Lowell. Logan was born with fluid in his lungs and a condition called PPHN. Consequently, he could not be held or touched for the first two weeks of his life. He lived in a dimly lit box. His kidneys then ceased to function properly; he was seizing, and was unable to breathe on his own. Logan was airlifted to Arkansas Children’s Hospital. He is still there and the doctors in NICU have yet to fully diagnose his condition.
Admission is a minimum donation of $5 per person. All are encouraged to attend.
