Digital Reading finally goes high tech
Ever since the advent of the computer people have been talking about how everything is going to be paperless. Well I don’t now about you but it seems like printing has created plenty of paper not to mention fear that digital data will be lost. Storage devices are getting smaller in size while increasing capacity which makes it more feasible to go paperless using digital backups but that is still a long way out.
The thing about books however is that nobody wants to be stuck reading a book on their computer. Iphone has gone a long way to making computing truly portable but using such a small screen and an lcd it is still hard to read an entire book.
Something amazing has now been created called the Amazon Kindle. It has a screen that simulates an actual paper page out of a book. You can put hundreds of books on a removable (and upgradeable) memory card and read them anywhere. It is about the size of a conventional paperback book and is simple to use. There are easy and intuitive buttons to flip pages and will even remember where you were last so you never have to wonder. The battery also lasts for days so you never have to worry about it dying on you.
There is even a wireless feature where you can download new books right to the device anywhere you can get a cellular signal. You can even keep up with this blog right on your Amazon Kindle. This is an all in one tool that I can’t wait to get - for more info and to get on the waiting list (that is right it is so great you have to get on the list) click below.
