There never seems to be enough time in a day. If you have 2 free hours life will give you 3 hours worth of work to do. So you rearrange you life to squeeze in the 3 free hours but then *BAM* life decides you will need 4. Don’t we all wish that life could be made more simple?
Well now it can thanks to our friends at Life Made Simple. Life Made Simple is the perfect name for their business because through their services your life will become simple.
Life Made Simple offers a range of services including nanny, cleaning, organizing, and many other home services. Here is an excerpt from their website explaining some of their services:
Nanny: A trained professional who assists families with all tasks related to childcare. Nannies typically work from within the family residence, acting as a primary caregiver to the children when parents are not available. The extent of these services varies per the individual family?s needs. Nanny services are either full-time (40 hours per week), part-time (32 or less hours per week), temporary (i.e. summer season or during a transitional period the family is encountering), or as extensive as a fulltime “live-in” arrangement. Pay for a Nanny begins at $9/hour.
Baby Sitter: This service offers a trained professional that provides temporary custodial care when the primary caregiver is unavailable. This service is available on a temporary, “as needed” basis. This type of service differs from that of a Nanny. Though this is a trained professional, the requirements of this position are not as extensive as that of a Nanny. This service offers parents a few hours to plan a getaway for a night out or a scheduled event that does not involve the children. This service provides the peace of mind of knowing that your children are being given professional care while you take some much needed time for yourselves or other events outside of the home. Our babysitters offer overnight babysitting services. The charge for 24 hour care is $100.00/per night. Our babysitters charge $10/hour with a 3 hour minuamum.
Mommy Nanny: This service involves nanny personnel who has a family of her own to care for as well. She will bring her child to your home during the hours that she is caring for your family. This promotes early social and interactive skills between children that has proven to be beneficial during early developmental years. Because this Nanny is able to save on her own childcare needs, her salary is typically 25% less than other Nanny services offered, but the care is the same quality for your family. Pay for a Mommy nanny starts at $8.00.
Nighttime Baby Nanny: One of the most invaluable services offered, especially with young infants. This service offers a trained nanny who will care for your baby?s needs throughout the nighttime hours, allowing you to get the rest you need so that you are able to “perform” during your hectic daytime schedule. This is usually a temporary position that sometimes is combined with the services of consultation with a Newborn Specialist. It’s our top priority to transition your baby onto a schedule that fits into your family, and to get your child to sleep through the night. Pay for Nighttime Baby Nanny starts at $10-12/hour or can be salary.
Personal Family Assistant: A “P.F.A.” is a domestic service professional who is trained to manage both the social and professional demands of the entire family. A P.F.A. is the one responsible for tending to all of the family?s schedules and required activities. For example, the P.F.A. will confirm appointments, transport children to sporting events, lessons, or doctor’s appointments when the parents are not available. They will also make reservations for travel or meals for the entire family.
Household Manager: This exceptionally trained professional offers the most complete package. This person is a Nanny to your children, as well as the over-seer of all of the demands of your household. This person will delegate and oversee all things related to the management of your household (i.e. scheduling and supervising any maintenance or repair technicians, cleaning staff, special event planners or lawn care specialists.) This individual is also available to run personal errands for family members. This person will see to it that your family, as well as your home, is well taken care of so that you are able to focus on demands while at work or other commitments that require you to be away. Pay for a Household Manager is typically salary.
Nanny/Housekeeper: This requires someone who has the dual responsibilities for the care of a family’s children and their home. The nanny/housekeeper typically works in an environment where the family’s children spend significant time daily out of the home, generally at school. The nanny/housekeeper’s childcare responsibilities include full supervision of children while they are in the home, attention to their meals, dressing, and hygiene. The nanny/housekeeper’s housekeeping responsibilities include daily making beds and general straightening, children’s laundry and bedding; dust and polish furniture; sweep, and mop floors; maintain bathrooms; and vacuum. Pay for a Nanny/Housekeeper begins at $12/hour.
