Bentonville Farmer’s Market to start taking WIC

The Bentonville Farmer’s Market is set to start participating in the WIC program this weekend. Vouchers will be given to women and children who are at nutritional risk. They will be good for unprepared fresh vegitables and fruit.

The department of Agriculture has started allowing women with children vouchers for farmer’s markets to allow them to have freshly grown produce and to increase awareness of such markets.
