There have been many people coming back for more tattoos every week. These tattoos can last up to 14 days with proper care depending on your skin type. Some people simply grow tired of a design and want something different or the same thing in a different place.

WYCO uses stencils and specialized equipment to deliver a great looking tattoo in minutes. They also have the capability to cut custom stencils while you wait so if you have a design in mind that they don’t have just ask. Having a party or corporate event in the Northwest Arkansas area? They are also available for your private event or party. They will come to you and do unlimited tattoos by the hour! With so many people getting tattoos these days, not to mention how many regret them, this is a truly great business for our area.

You can visit them in the Promenade Mall food court Mon-Sat 10am to 9pm and Sun Noon-6pm - make sure to mention that InsideYourNWA sent you!

Also you can go see them at Bikes Blues and BBQ.

A large crowd is expected this year for the next Summer Diversity Weekend Friday, August 07, 2009 in Eureka Springs, AR.

With four distinct yet mild seasons, Eureka Springs is a fabulous place to vacation any time, but gay travelers particularly like to visit for the Diversity Weekends staged throughout the year—in spring, summer, and fall (supplemented by other queer weekends, including the Eureka Gras Extravaganza in February). Throngs of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender folk from near and far descend on Eureka Springs, and the hills come alive with the sound of partying.

Of course, a significant percentage of Diversity Weekend revelers are straight. The youth of today, even those living in the Ozarks, grew up on Will & Grace. This queer-hip Internet generation is more sophisticated than we can probably grasp. The youngsters have tons of gay friends, they Tivo Ellen DeGeneres, and they know where the best party is.

Many visitors are surprised to learn there are no gay bars in Eureka Springs. As in some parts of Europe, there just isn’t much need for them here. In the alternate universe that is Eureka Springs, pretty much all of the bars are gay-friendly.

Eureka Springs lodging options run the gamut from historic 19th-century hotels to dude ranches, modern chain motels, mom-and-pop lodges, luxury log cabins and tree houses, Victorian cottages and bungalows, and so many bed-and-breakfasts that the town promotes itself as America’s B&B Capital. There’s even a “Bikers Only” motel (Eureka is big with motorcycle enthusiasts).

Dr. Laura Austin of Austin Vision Care in Fayetteville suggests that families and friends stay away from private firework use this year and instead enjoy professional displays to protect and preserve eyesight.

“Each year over the holiday,” said Dr. Austin, “Thousands of adults and children are seriously injured as a result of fireworks and pyrotechnic devices. Many burns and injuries affect eyesight, permanently damaging and in some cases blinding the victims.”

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), an estimated 20-25 percent of fireworks injuries are to the eyes. Most of these eye injuries were contusions and lacerations. About two-thirds of the fireworks-related injuries were burns, and most of the burns involved the hands, eyes and head/face. ….

In 2003, four persons died and an estimated 9,300 were treated in emergency departments for fireworks-related injuries in the U.S. About 45 percent of persons injured were children ages 14 years and younger. Children ages 5-9 years have the highest injury rate for fireworks-related injuries. Most injuries involved firecrackers, rockets, and sparklers.

Believe it or not, sparklers are the highest cause of fireworks injuries for children under five requiring trips to the emergency room. Sparklers can easily burn skin or ignite clothes since they heat up to 1000 degrees F

And, surprising to many, bystanders at home displays are not safe from injury. Data from the United States Eye Injury Registry shows that bystanders are injured by fireworks one-half of the time…..

“Be safe and protect your eyes this 4th of July,” said Dr. Austin, “Go to professional displays and enjoy the spectacle in the sky.”

Here is a list of local fireworks events:

Springdale — July 1st-4th At the rodeo grounds at the end of each night….

Fayetteville — July 4th at Baum Stadium. Fireworks start at 9:30Entertainment from local bands, refreshments and concessions starts at 6:30Free to the public….

Rogers — July 3rd at Veterans park. Fireworks start at 9-9:30. Other festivities start at 7:30….

Bentonville — July 4th at Memorial Park. .Fireworks start shortly after sun down 9ish. All day festival in the park All free to the public….

Elkins — On the 7th at “Fourth on the River” (what they call the celebration). All day festival including a parade Fireworks start at sundown….

West Fork – at Unity Church. Big celebration at the River side Park. Both Free to the public, but nothing planned by the city.
